Synopsis

Lake Winnipeg drains a basin reaching across four provinces and four states. What happens on a field in Saskatchewan arrives here, eventually.

Where the Water Goes follows the water rather than a single character, moving downstream through the people who measure it, farm beside it, fish it, and answer for it.

It was shot over two open-water seasons and one freeze-up by a small crew working out of a boat and a truck.
