Synopsis

Thirty Below is a short film about what a winter town does when the temperature stops being weather and starts being infrastructure.

There is no narration. The film is built from the sounds and the rhythms of a place where every trip outside is planned in advance.

The shoot was governed by battery life. Everything in the film was captured in the window between the camera warming up and the camera giving up.
